I just understand the new rules by reading more carefuly the post by Fin.
I admit i liked the rules from 2023 with the evolution of weight after each race depending of the result.
Of course the 2023 rules supposed more work for the admins to adjust weight of everyone for each race.
But maybe the new rules are also nice, i don't know , we will see.

I just Read the results from last race "Elkhart" i am written with "0kg" whereas i had 20kg, and if i understood well the new rules i am supposed to keep the 20kgs for all 2024 season.

Yes, Micha is Chicuita and to his great surprise he had 60KG. I checked it on the server because I couldn't explain why I was so slow. In the evaluation it says 0 KG, but the weights were definitely there. Apart from that, I understood the new weights to mean that you can only gain weight but never lose weight...

The weight column in the results is indeed not always correct, last season it was wrong for me a few times too in the result sheet even though I had the full 120kg of ballast in the server.

Die Gewichte sollen für die ganze Saison bei jedem so bleiben. Bei dem einen oder anderen wird evtl. etwas nach oben korrigiert. Nilski zB. bekommt 2x 120 kg . Nein Quatsch.
Aber hier und da gibt es ne kleine Anpassung.

The weights in the results should now be correct.

I had two reasons for the fixed kilogram allocation.
1. time commitment
2. Avoid tactical driving to lose weight.

Bonus weight is only for the number 1 in qualif , or the top 3 or top 6 ... ?
How much bonus weight exactly depending of qualification position ?

As I understood the kilos for Qualification are added like this:

P1 +50
P2 +45
P3 +40
P4 +35
P5 +30
P6 +25
P7 +20
P8 +15
P9 +10
P10 +5

These are added to your fixed weight balance.

Were these bonus weights present during qualifying for the race 1 and 2 ? i admit i noticed nothing.
This would mean that I had 45 kgs of weight bonus during the race with my P6 in qualifying. I did not pay attention.

This makes kind of big differences in weight and I would understand if some drivers underperform during qualifying.
I also noticed and was surprised by the underperformance of certain good drivers during the previous qualification but perhaps this was random...i don't know

These weight penalties for qualifying leave me perplexed
