thx a lot
but i already have four copys plus one clean(in case i needed), one old from the pilsbierbude,one for kölschbierbude, another one for p&g and one to trying out mods.
also i have the HQ Anniversary patch, there is no need to have the steam version for me.
i got the gtr2 dvd since release, many jears to trying out a lot off mods and stuff.
supplymentary, gtr2 dont need a install in windows,
copy from here to there or to a new system iss enough.

ich habe auch mal wieder GTR2 am Start, leider belegt meine DD2 schon 2 Controller Plätze im Spiel so das es nur noch für die Pedale reicht, Shifter oder Button Box funktionieren damit nciht mehr. Was kann man denn da tun?

You can do 2 things:
* If you can't use pedals/wheel, use https://github.com/briankendall/devreorder
to reorder your devices.
* for button boxes, shifters etc, use JoyToKey to map buttons to keyboard presses.

hi
gtr2 nutzt nur drei angeschloßene geräte,
inkl. tastatur.
also hast du noch zwei übrig!
ich gehe davon aus das du die pedale separat angeschloßen hast!?
wenn du shifter und pedale an die dd anschließt sollte auch die button box funktionieren.

Ok auf deutsch und englisch. Meine DD2 Base belegt schon Joy 1 und 2. Das ist kann doch nicht der Sinn der Sache sein, das ein Gerät 2 Plätze belegt, denn genau der 2. Platz fehlt mir leider.
My DD2 base takes Joy 1 and Joy 2 but its only a single device. I think thats not the way it should be.
Maybe i dont understand it correctly but i don´t know how the linked tool can help me to solve the problem.

Unfortunately, I cannot provide you with the exact steps because I do not have this problem. I use DD1 (yes, it is 2 USB devices), HE Ultimate, multiple shifters, handbrake and it all works. However, I use joy2key to map shifters and some wheel buttons. The tool I linked should allow moving USB devices up or down in the priority list.
Let me make sure I understand you correctly: wheel and pedals work fine for you, and you cannot make button box work?

hi
ich weiß von einem dd1 nutzer das er die pedale an die wheelbase angeschloßen hat und seperat eine handbremse, läuft.
ich selber bin auch schon wheelbase und pedale seperat gefahren, läuft.
dann sollte auch wheelbase mit angeschloßenen pedalen und shifter und seperater button box laufen.
aber man sollte auch nicht vergessen das gtr2 von 2005 ist, da hat noch keiner an fanatec gedacht.
da freute man sich noch über das g25 als maß aller dinge!

Yes wheel and separat pedals work fine, but with DD2 using 2 inputs and the pedals using the third, there is no more left for another device
