Unfortunately also tonight I am unable to enter the event .
I succeeded in entering all the servers but not 3,7 and 4 (the last one is the server for tonight's event).
Server 4 sends me back to the desktop.
Really I do not understand what is going on
Any additional idea?

Does this also happen if you try to load up an offline practice session with the same car and track?
For example I get a game crash every time I try to load Dubai too while other tracks work fine with the same car - I even moved over the Dubai track folder from a new install of the game (since it's standard content) and re-ran the 4GB patch, but no success.

Mhh, seltsam bei einer original Strecke.
Willste mal den Dubai-Ordner vom Server probieren?

I had problems to enter the server today aswell.
Made it 3 minutes before end of qualifying. No practice and no setup work unfortunately. Most importantly no race setup and that cost me rear stability and more in the race. I was suprised to qualify with only one hotlap for P2. Surely one of my greatest laps ever considering the circumstances.
So happy about that atleast.

My game always crashed. Later always when loading keiichi Tsuchiya. He was driving a Nissan. Never had any problems with gt masters cars. And everything was installed and no updates open in the updater tool.

I solved the problem with manually downloading all the skins of that Nissan. And i put them into the foreseen folder. After that it worked.

FLB have you installed all the updates via the updater?

Maybe your updater is linked either to a wrong folder or is connected with a false account. Even both at the same time can be the case. I would recommened you to have a look at it.


Second thing you can try is to manually download the track and the cars of server 3. Highspeedring and the cars for that event. Put them into the correct folders and give it a go. Worked for me today.

My problems occur mainly during the events/races (8-10 pm Saturday and Monday) .
I use Windows 11 Home (updated 22H2) and my hardware is a recent one and (very) fast too.
I have updated and reinstalled KBB/GTR2 several times with the autoupdater.
I have reinstalled many times the patches for 4GB, lobby connection and advanced setup.
I have loaded the track for the next event (Highspeedring) manually.
Today at 11.30 a.m. the situation in the lobby looked as follows:
1 - I had no problem entering servers 1,2,4,5 and 6;
2 - I entered server 7 but was kicked back to lobby due to "booted as possible cheat";
3 - I could not enter servers 3 and 8 as the key "join" was not working.
This situation is very strange and has been going on for at least two months.

P.S. in my GTR2 folder both a d3d9.dll and a D3DX9_41.dll are present. Is it the same for you?

Hiho, in my directory of GTR2 is only the d3d9.dll, it belongs to the XD tool. I don't have D3DX9_41.dll in my directory, it doesn't belong there in my opinion, this dll belongs to DirectX 9. Have you reinstalled DirectX 9? And did you have these problems also with earlier operating systems, i.e. Win 10 or 7?

I will try to cancel D3DX9_41.dll (I do not remember the relevant origine).
I am using Windows 11 since the start of the software (I think at least 1 year and half ago).
Into Windows 11 it is working DirectX 12; I think that to install DirectX 9 can create further problems.

I can regularly enter in servers 1,2,4,5 and 6 and I cannot enter servers 3 and 8. In server 7 I was put on lobby with description "booted as possible cheat".
