                  No I have single display with 2560x1440. I raced previous saturday on Zolder with Macau series without any problem

                  Hm, ok, thats a high resolution... there is a problem with GTR2 driver names when using high resolutions. Here's a file that fixes that:

                  Look for Post #332828 from "Finguni", it looks like that:

                  I can't use that patch it's in german, I use italian version.
                  The patch modify the "Loading" word:
                  Code:

                  //ORIG "Loading" = "Lade" // <3S> Causes crash with long player names
                  "Loading" = "Lade nächsten Fahrer" //<3S> No crash seen @5040x1050

                  Can I do the same modifying the "Loading" translation with another word?

                  Ich sag mal Sorry - fürs Chaos in Runde 4.

                  Bin da mit PH! aneinander geraten.
                  Ich dachte er steckt zurück, war aber nicht so.
                  Leider ist bei der Aktion PH! abgeflogen und hat einige mitgerissen.

                  Ich empfand das nicht als mein Fehler, aber ich hätte es wohl verhindern können...

                  Also Sorry an Nico, Shadow, Pavel & Marc die dann nicht mehr ausweichen konnten.

                  Oops, ok, so your solution sounds not bad... if the game.dic is the issue. I hope you saved your original file for restoring, if it doesnt work. Hope it works!!
